Introduction
Join us for this unique series of talks, presentations and workshops from our renowned wildlife hosts and local naturalists, as we cruise in luxury in the world’s most unspoilt wildlife paradise, discovering the wonders of this truly magical place. The creatures on the Galapagos Islands have never experienced man as a predator, and so show no fear of humans.
Our privately chartered 207ft yacht La Pinta, is very stable and provides a haven of relaxation and tranquillity. The state rooms are spacious, all with floor to ceiling panoramic windows, large comfy beds, air-conditioning and ensuite bathrooms.
Beds can be twin or queen size doubles.
On our adventure you will snorkel with sea turtles and the most beautiful tropical fish, swim with seals and sea lions, sit with
giant tortoises, watch the land and marine iguanas, whales and dolphins, and witness the mating rituals of a wide variety of birds, including the Blue Footed Boobies.
From your hosts, Jonathan and Angie Scott, you’ll enjoy illustrated talks on their wildlife travels and photographic trips – and you’ll learn much about how to improve your own wildlife photography. Jonathan Truss, our acclaimed wildlife artist, will entertain and pass on useful and practical sketching and painting tips which inspire even the novice and more aspiring artists among us!
Our local naturalists are experts in all the wildlife of these amazing islands, and add their specialist knowledge to anecdotal stories
of Charles Darwin and the stunning night sky.
International Flights
We are negotiating a special rate with ATOL bonded agent, Statesman Travel, flying from London to Quito via Madrid.
The prices we will be given will be subject to change at the time of booking, but will be quoted at cost. Once we receive the details we will let you know, or please give us a call if you would like us to help you with flights.
You don’t have to buy this element from us, which leaves you free to use your air miles (or similar) or your own flight specialist,
if you have someone you like to rely on. After a long flight we like to let guests sleep and relax – and so have arranged a lovely hotel in Quito for two nights.
